Privacy policy
Your match videos, labels and notes stay on your device. The Patemo app makes no network requests: no account, no analytics, no upload. We never sell personal data.

1 The short version
Patemo works entirely on your device. The videos you import, the rallies it finds, your labels, notes, goals and drill results are stored on your phone or tablet and are never sent to us. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no upload, and it makes no network requests of its own.
This website measures page visits without cookies and keeps short technical logs to stay online and secure. If you email us, we use your message to answer you.

For any privacy matter, write to privacy@patemo.com and a real person answers. We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer and have not done so.
3 What the app does with your data
- Your videos. Patemo opens the match videos you choose from your photo library or files. It reads them on your device and keeps its own copy or reference there. Nothing is uploaded.
- Rally finding and stroke suggestions. Patemo finds rallies by listening for the ball in the video’s sound, and it suggests forehand or backhand with a body-pose model (Apple Vision on iPhone and iPad, Google’s open MoveNet model on Android). Both run on your device. Every result is a suggestion you can correct.
- What you add. Labels, notes, goals, drill results and your settings are stored in the app’s own storage on your device. Deleting the app, or using the delete control in Settings, removes them.
- Sharing and export. When you export a clip or a report, the system share sheet sends it only where you choose. What happens to it there is governed by that app or person.
- Purchases. Nothing in Patemo is for sale yet. When a subscription is offered, Apple or Google will process the purchase under their own privacy policies; we receive only the proof of purchase the store gives the app, not your payment details.
- Information about other people. A match video can show your opponent and other people. It stays on your device like any other video. If you share a clip, you are responsible for having any permission you need.
4 What this website processes, why, and on what basis
- Server logs. Our host keeps standard technical access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser) to run the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Kept briefly and used for nothing else.
- Visit statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits and measures loading speed without cookies, local storage or tracking individual visitors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages help people (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Email you send us. If you write to support or privacy, we process your message and address to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you (Art. 6(1)(f)).
This website carries no advertising, does no profiling and makes no automated decisions.
5 Who processes data on our behalf
- Cloudflare hosts this website, provides its visit statistics and forwards email sent to our patemo.com addresses to our mailbox.
- Microsoft hosts the mailbox in which we read and answer your email.
- Apple and Google distribute the app through the App Store and Google Play and handle store purchases. For those purchases they act under their own privacy policies.
6 International transfers
Where a provider may process data outside the EEA (for example a US-incorporated provider such as Cloudflare or Microsoft), the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. A copy of the relevant safeguard is available on request.
7 How long we keep it
- App data: on your device, for as long as you keep it. We hold no copy.
- Server logs: briefly, for security and operation.
- Email: for as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable period after.
8 Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. For your app data you already hold these rights directly: you can view, correct, export and delete it in the app. For email and other data we process, write to privacy@patemo.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or with the authority in your own EU/EEA country.
10 Children
Patemo collects no personal data from anyone, children included. This website is intended for players and parents. If you believe a child has sent us personal data by email, contact us and we will delete it.
11 Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear.
